Our Mission

Nur Shriners is one of 196 Shrine Centers that comprise Shriners International.  We are a part of the Masonic Fraternity and founded on fun and fellowship, all the while holding true to the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth. In 1920 the Imperial Council voted to establish a "Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children" which opened in 1922 in Shreveport, LA. From this one hospital grew a network of hospitals known today as Shriners Hospitals for Children whose mission is to provide orthopedic care, burn treatment, cleft lip and palate care, and spinal cord injury rehabilitation for children 18 years of age and under in a family-centered environment with NO financial obligation to patients or families.  Specifically, Nur Shriners support the Shriners Hospitals of Children - Philadelphia through transporting children to and from the Hospital and raising funds for its operation.

As part of the Masonic Fraternity, one must be a Mason in order to join.  If you would like more information about Nur Shriners or the Masonic Fraternity drop us a note either through email of by calling.
